In view of the fact that the news and entertainment media in the United States has been
repeatedly shown to be irresponsible, broadcasting editorial statements disguised as
news and entertainment, presenting programs purporting to be factual but actually using
hired, scripted actors and broadcasting misinformation leading to religious hate crimes
causing loss of life, liberty, and property and disrupting families and friends:
Therefore we propose that the 1st Amendment to the Constitution ( the so-called "Free
Speech Amendment") has become archaic and outlived its usefulness, and a MEDIA CONTROL
bill needs to be put into effect by the US Congress.
- All members of the news and entertainment industry must be licensed and registered
with the US Government. The BATFL (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Literature) may deny licensing / registration to any person or corporation at its
discretion.
- Any and all media vehicles ( newspapers, magazines, Internet sites, modems, books etc. ) must be
licensed and registered with the US Government, and shall carry an identifying serial number on all
published material, e-mail, tools, distribution vehicles etc.
- All entertainment and news must meet with certain Federal standards, to be established and enforced
by the BATFL (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Literature).
- All means of publishing shall be locked when not in use to prevent unauthorized / unlicensed persons from
misusing them.
- A Federal office shall be established to assist persons libeled / slandered in any media
to file a lawsuit against the corporation that broadcast or printed the libel / slander, or against
any media that publishes misinformation of any kind. "Opinion" shall not constitute a defense
against any lawsuit.
- The import of cheaply printed / published foreign media is banned.
- The BATFL (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Literature) shall issue permits for the possession of media publishing equipment at its discretion.
- Any violation of this law shall carry a term of imprisonment of not less than ten years and a
$100,000 dollar fine.
This amendment was established to cover hand-operated printing presses ( as being the only kind in
existence at the time ) and thus "Freedom of Speech" in the media ONLY applies to hand-operated printing
presses.
It follows that the use of artificial amplification (microphones and the like) at public meetings puts any
such meeting outside of the protections of so-called "Free Speech."
This goes along with the prevailing Liberal view that the 2nd Amendment only applies to muzzle-loading
flintlock firearms.
Further investigation along these lines needs to be made in reference to the evident fact that "Freedom
of Religion" only applies to Christians and Jews, as being the only religions in the 13 Colonies, and thus the
BATFL (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Literature) needs to regulate and control Islam, Wicca, Buddhism, Shintoism, the Sikhs, and other non-original
religions. We are glad to see that beginning steps have been taken in this direction by Janet Reno with the
eradication of the David Koresh cult in Waco, and by Rep. Burton Barr with his attacks on so-called "Freedom
of Worship" in the U. S. Army.
With such modifications of the 1st and 2nd Amendments, further investigation is urged into the
appropriateness for the modern world of the entire so-called "Bill of Rights" as being contrary to the
needs of the modern State.
